Extensive grazing production runs in Eliseu’s family. His father was in charge of a herd of more than 800 heads, and they both moved their herd seasonally to the north of Catalonia. Together with his family, they also run a local butcher’s shop where they use the farm’s meat production.
Eliseu is a resident and is familiar with the problems associated with forest fires. For some years he has been working, under the protection of the Parc Natural del Montsant, in some strategic areas for the fire risk management. For him, “Fire Flocks” represents an opportunity to value the final product and the recognition of the service it provides to society as a whole.
