Dr. Prat, an R&D+i expert from Pau Costa Foundation gave an outstanding presentation at the 6th International Fire Behaviour and Fuels conference. The audience responded positively to the description of Fire Flocks as an innovative example for prevention.
Dr. Prat presented Fire Flocks in a context of engagement of fire managers and researchers in Sydney. The 6th International Conference on Fire and Fuel Behaviour was held in April 2019 in three countries simultaneously (New Mexico, France and Australia). This conference is a prestigious international event where forest fire experts present their contributions to fire science. In addition, it offers a forum for exchanging experiences and lessons learned, and a space to showcase current work and emerging ideas/technologies, with the aim of providing a solid foundation that facilitates the establishment of a course that addresses and responds to challenges at local, regional and global levels.
