Arnau, apart from being the shepherd of a herd of 140 goats in the process of expansion, is the president of the Association of Shepherds of Prades and Montsant Mountains. Every day he goes out to graze with his herd in the forests and fields of l’Albiol, mainly, and complements it with the management of the Association, with the aim of revitalizing the livestock sector and improving the quality of life of its members.
A native and neighbor of Albiol, he is aware of the risk posed today by wildfires and is determined to adapt the management of his herd to favor the management objectives established in strategic areas. He sees in Ramats de Foc the support tool he needed to be able to carry out projects and initiatives related to silvopasture and forest management that until now had not prospered.
