The (Mu)DA herd lives in freedom in the forest and meadows of Agullana and Darnius. Breeding is carried out respecting the behaviour of ruminants, avoiding stress, without the need for the widespread use of antibiotics and feeding on pasture and organic fodder. Extensive (Mu)DA livestock farming helps to reduce the fuel load of the forests and to maintain the meadows, thus facilitating the prevention and extinction of fires all year round.
